Very cool app. Tracks your carbon footprint based on your Mint account and/or your own inputs from the full gambit of life choices - diet, travel, home etc. Best part is you can compare against multiple different cohorts from your friends to the world at large. Even gives you suggestions for reducing impact.
This is a must have app for anyone who cares deeply about the environment and about their carbon footprint.
I don’t consider myself a treehugger or environmentalist, but I do care about living in a healthy planet and building one for future generations. I love how this app helps me do that. It automatically calculates the carbon footprint of my spending (organized by categories, such as Live, Work, and Eat), compares my footprint with national and local averages (as well to my friends who are also using the app), and gives me tips on how I can reduce my footprint and save money. I can nerd out over data and charts about my spending habits and see where the biggest carbon culprits lie. The app is intuitive and easy to use, and has already gotten me thinking about how I can beat my friends. And, most importantly, it helps me take everyday actions to reduce my carbon impact on the planet.
At lasty...a way to see your footprint. And you can compete with others as you sgirve to save the planet. Much more productive than Cards Against Humanity...which is another competition I hope to engage with...soon...
